Based on the principle that all accidents can
be avoided and all risks prevented, PROSIGN has been developing
safety management systems of the DuPont de Nemours type since
1986, and has succeeded in significantly reducing accidents
on both its worksites and its administrative and industrial
sites.
Our staff receive special training in safety management and
unsafe act auditing (identification of dangerous
situations) are regularly carried out in the various companies
in the group. The aim is to reduce the accident frequency rate
(number per million hours worked) to zero.
User safety must always be taken into account when developing
the road and motorway network. PROSIGN is constantly concerned
with making the road safer for everyone : drivers, pedestrians,
cyclists or bystanders, particularly by offering innovative
products that conform with safety standards.
PROSIGN designs and makes the following products to help improve

Wet night, high-visibility
retroreflective paints and coatings, such as TYPHON,
which provides excellent retroreflection when weather
conditions are very poor.

Innovative markings such
as Sonorive® rumble strips which have bumps to warn
drivers when they have gone over the dividing line.

Foot-sensitive markings
such as Médialine® so that the visually impaired can safely
find their way.

Coloured road surfaces
to encourage drivers to take greater care in urban
areas (coloured Plastiroc non-skid coating, rumble strips
to make drivers slow down, coloured strips and pre-cut
signs for good visual warning).

Poor road quality and/or poor maintenance are
the weak spots in the road safety network. Litigation can lead
to personal and criminal liability hence the importance of ensuring
that signage is of high quality and correctly registered.
